We reserve the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

Our contract

When you place an order to purchase a product from blinds-hut.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order.

Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Confirmation of Dispatch E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.


When ordering goods for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes. You will be responsible for all such charges, together with any additional charges for customs clearance.

Product quality guarantee

General information

All products are quality checked before dispatch but in the unlikely event that you experience any problems please e-mail us at: service@blinds-hut.co.uk.

We will deal with your queries quickly and efficiently, and if necessary arrange for a replacement to be sent without delay. If you return products that were posted free of charge by us as a result of the order value exceeding £100, we reserve the right to charge a postage fee if all or part of the order is returned to us results in the aggregate value of the goods not returned to be under £100.

Accepting and/or receiving goods from us

Where you order goods from this website, and they are dispatched to you from any of our nominated carriers or postal methods, you agree to inspect the goods so far as is practical before you sign and accept them. This applies to anyone accepting goods on your behalf. We may not be responsible for damage to goods that was identifiable at the time the goods were delivered, unless notified to our nominated carrier company that the goods are damaged at the time of signing. This notification must be in writing.

Blinds guarantee

As a commitment to the quality of the products we offer, we offer a 3 year guarantee against manufacturing defects in your blinds. If during that period your blinds suffers from a defect that is covered by our guarantee, then we will make suitable arrangements for the blind to be repaired or replaced, at our total discretion. Carriage costs for repairing blinds are at the customers cost after the first 12 months.

Exclusion to 3 year guarantee

We only have a few exclusions to our guarantee and they are as follows:

  • Accident
  • Wear and tear
  • Misuse or alteration
  • Products used in non domestic environments
  • Non adherence with measuring, fitting or maintenance instructions
  • Exposure to elements
  • Normal fabric fading due to fabric properties.


We will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. Blinds-hut.co.uk does not limit in any way our liability by law for death or personal injury caused from our negligence or breach of duty.

Whilst we take reasonable precautions to ensure our website is free from viruses, spyware and any other similar programs, we do not accept liability for any viruses transmitted or received during the use of this website, and it is your responsibility as the user of this website to have appropriate and or adequate software to protect against any of the above.

Child safety

All our blinds are supplied as standard with a legally compliant child safety device. You accept by using this website and purchasing a product from us that it is your responsibility to ensure the fitment of the child safety device in accordance with the instructions provided, and you further accept that Blinds hut and any associated or connected company will not be liable for any injury caused if those child safety devices are not fitted correctly.

Pricing and availability

We list availability information for products sold by us on the website. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable, and we will confirm dispatch of your goods by way of a Confirmation of Dispatch E-mail.

Care instructions

You agree to be bound by the care instructions we provide to you with any product. Packaged items will usually contain care instructions in the packaging, and with other items we may provide literature details how to care for your products. You agree when purchasing from us that Blinds Hut will not be liable for damage/loss to goods where the care instructions are not followed. If you are unsure on what actions to carry out, then refer to the website for the product information, or alternatively contact our customer service department who will provide the necessary care instructions for you.

Shrinkage and colour loss

When soft furnishings are washed, some slight shrinkage and some colour loss may occur. Details of this information will be provided with your products, either on the packaging, or additional leaflets provided by us. You accept this information as part of the terms and conditions and agree that and colour loss or shrinkage mentioned in this information is reasonable.

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
