Cordlock has a nylon cord that you draw to raise and can then be locked it into place when it is in the required position. This cord can then be released to lower. A child safety cleat is also supplied.
Sidewinder is a continuous chain mechanism with a low gearing, so it is more suitable for raising and lowering heavy or wide blinds. We would recommend this for blinds over 120cm wide or if is will be frequently raised and lowered.

Please note you are ordering an authentic natural wood product, there will inherently be variations to the colour caused by the grain, pin knots and mineral deposits within the wood.
These blinds are supplied with colour coordinated headrail, bottom bar and ladder braid, plus a wood valance in the same colour as the blind slats.
Made to measure blinds
The blind that you order will be cut to the measurement that you specify (within a 5mm tolerance). Please note this is a custom made product and to avoid disappointment please double check your measurements and read our measuring guides to ensure you measure your window properly.
Where a recess size is stated 15mm will be deducted from the width to allow for fitting. The pelmet will be slightly longer than the headrail so that it can be trimmed to the exact width you require.
The control sides come as standard i.e. the tilt control is on the left and the cord lift is always on the right. Note: because of the weight large blinds (width over 1950mm or length over 1800mm) will be supplied without a lift control and are only available with a tilt option.
Our blinds are supplied with universal fixings that will enable you to top fix (top of window recess or ceiling) or face fix (to the window frame or wall above window). All the necessary brackets and fixings are supplied.
Depending upon the length of the Venetian blind you have ordered the blind when fully lifted will have a minimum height. See the table below fro an indication of what depth your blinds might be when it is fully raised:
|Blind Length (cm)||Approx Stacking Height (cm)|
